JENNIFER LEVINE

EXHIBITION DATES
JULY - SEPTEMBER 2023

"My work is intuitive, spontaneous and free spirited. I create paintings, dolls, murals and objects with bright, bold color mixing images of human figures with shapes, animals, text and collage elements. Many of my paintings and drawings contain images of women with their arms outstretched, in nature or in a surreal circus. The women find home with magical elephants who escort them on their journeys’ -  symbolizing freedom and self-acceptance." - Jennifer Levine

MARY DEVINCENTIS

EXHIBITION DATES
MARCH - MAY 2023

"I am very interested in the stories we humans tell about ourselves and others and about the world we live in. Whether myth or memory, imagined or experienced, personal or societal, our stories connect us to our core concerns, our deepest aspirations and the fears that we all have. I love the challenge of taking the elemental aspects of a narrative and creating work which I hope both transmits and transmutes and brings something that is fresh and relatable to the viewer." - Mary Devincentis

MAIRIKKE DAU

EXHIBITION DATES
MARCH - JUNE 2022

Mairikke Dau’s practice is geared toward making unlike things fit together as if they were natural companions. Like puzzle pieces, her bold forms perfectly hug the contours of each other, clearly delineated by their hard edges.

Some forms are abstract shapes while others are recognizable motifs. Everything fits neatly on the two-dimensional plane as if each element she drafts was always meant to be there. Her unusual combinations are boundless and encourage viewers to come up with their own intuitive associations.

These seemingly random arrangements create the sense that there is something useful about her careful technique of bringing order to disorder. Dau turns chaotic arrangements into recognizable patterns that recall memories and conjure the imagination.
